Some of her awards include first prize at the former Source Theatre in Washington, D.C for her ten-minute play on sexual abuse, Sticks and Stones. And, in 2010, her play, Case 22 - on abusive families - appeared at the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival to critical acclaim.
